Vast is a government organisation that supports Home and Community Care (HACC) services across Eastern Sydney. These services provide quality support to people who are frail aged or with a disability and their carers. They rely on the support of volunteers to maintain these valuable services.

VAST has two roles:

  1. To recruit, train and place volunteers within HACC services.
  2. To provide training and support to HACC workers.

VAST covers five local government areas: Randwick, Waverley, Woollahra, Botany and City of Sydney.

See "Publications" for VAST's 2010 Training Calendar (December-June) and Volunteer Jobs Available
